Julian Fraser

Cofounder

Julian Fraser is a software engineer and architect with more than 25 years of experience across web and mobile applications, enterprise systems, and cloud infrastructure. His work spans healthcare, financial services, defense and aerospace, entertainment and recreation, and consumer-facing platforms. He combines hands-on development with architecture and user experience, taking projects from requirements through implementation and release. His recent work includes full-stack application delivery, Kubernetes hosting platforms, and practical agentic AI workflows for software engineering.

Joseph French

Cofounder

Joseph French is a senior full-stack engineer and technical lead who has built customer-facing and enterprise software since 2017. His work spans utilities, healthcare, financial services, and online marketplaces, including leading development of a Fortune 500 e-commerce platform that carries millions of dollars in annual revenue. He specializes in Angular and TypeScript applications backed by AWS serverless and event-driven services, with close attention to testing, observability, and integrations that recover cleanly when something fails. He mentors engineers, leads team practices for AI-assisted development, and holds a master’s degree in data science with a focus on machine learning.

How we build

We build with AI agents every day.

AI coding agents are part of every project we run, and we use them more heavily than almost any team we have worked alongside. That only works because of the system around them: a spec-driven development process we designed and built ourselves.

Every piece of work starts as a written specification, with requirements, a design, and a task plan that one of us approves before any code is written. Agents carry out the tasks inside that plan. Each change is then tested and reviewed by an engineer against the specification before it ships.
