Discuss a project

Capabilities

From the public website to the systems behind it.

We combine user experience, software engineering, and infrastructure delivery to build solutions that work as a whole. Engage us for a defined project, a modernization effort, or ongoing technical support.

Websites and digital services

Help people find information, complete tasks, and access your services. We plan and build responsive websites with clear navigation, usable content management, and accessibility considered throughout delivery.

What we deliver

  • Discovery and content review
  • Information architecture and UX
  • Visual design and component systems
  • CMS setup
  • Search and integrations
  • Migration and redirects
  • Accessibility evaluation and remediation within agreed scope
  • Staff training and handoff

Typical engagements

Public agency websites, service directories, business websites, and content-managed portals. These are the kinds of engagement we take on, not a list of completed Grey Mesa projects.

Applications and modernization

Build new tools around the way your organization works, or improve software that has become difficult to use and maintain. We connect interface design with application architecture, data, and delivery.

What we deliver

  • Workflow discovery
  • Prototypes
  • Web and mobile applications
  • Dashboards and operational tools
  • Authentication
  • Backend services
  • Data migration
  • Testing and deployment

Typical engagements

Internal workflow tools, customer-facing applications, and the modernization of systems that have become hard to maintain. These are the kinds of engagement we take on, not a list of completed Grey Mesa projects.

Integrations, AI and automation

Reduce repeated data entry and help information move reliably between systems. Where AI can add value, we start with a defined task, agreed data boundaries, and a way to evaluate the result.

What we deliver

  • System-to-system integrations
  • Scheduled imports and synchronization
  • Document search and retrieval
  • Assisted intake and classification
  • Human-reviewed workflow assistance
  • Engineering and release automation

Our approach

We start by understanding the current process and confirming access and technical feasibility. Then we prototype the highest-risk step, evaluate its outputs, and integrate it with appropriate review and monitoring. Much of this is conventional automation; where a step genuinely needs AI we say so, and treat it as a prospective offering until there is a publishable example.

Cloud delivery and ongoing support

Plan for what happens after launch. We configure deployment, hosting, monitoring, and operational documentation so the application can be maintained with clear responsibilities and predictable processes.

What we deliver

  • Hosting architecture
  • Infrastructure automation
  • Delivery pipelines
  • Monitoring
  • Backup and recovery planning
  • Updates
  • Incident procedures
  • Support agreements

How support works

Support is agreed per engagement: what is covered, how issues are raised, and who responds. We do not offer blanket round-the-clock coverage or a universal fixed support price.

Shared delivery principles

Four habits behind every engagement.

Whichever capability you engage, the delivery works the same way.

01

Design for users

Start from the people who will use the service and the staff who will run it.

02

Validate early

Test the important assumptions before they become expensive to change.

03

Make progress visible

Working increments you can review, not status reports about them.

04

Prepare for ownership

Documentation, access and maintenance planned from the start.

Technical experience

Areas our founders have worked in. Technology selection follows each project’s requirements.

Working with public agencies

Better digital services for the communities you serve.

We help public agencies improve websites, applications, and the workflows behind them, with attention to accessibility, staff usability, and long-term ownership.

  • 01Accessibility and usability
  • 02Security and data handling
  • 03Maintainable content
  • 04Integration feasibility
  • 05Transparent scope and cost
  • 06Ownership and handoff

Accessibility is part of the work, not a pass at the end.

Accessibility is part of the design and delivery process. We identify the applicable requirements, evaluate important user journeys with automated and manual checks, and document findings and remediation within the agreed project scope.
